Make Friendship Bracelets

Make a hospitalized child’s birthday brighter — one bracelet at a time!

At The Confetti Foundation, every birthday box is filled with celebration, hope, and love. Now, you can add an extra touch of kindness by handmaking a friendship bracelet to include as a special gift!

While these bracelets do not count toward volunteer hours, they’re a beautiful way to give back, reminding a child that they are loved, celebrated, and never alone on their special day.

Bracelet Guidelines ✨

We want each bracelet to be safe, durable, and joyful for the children and families who receive them. Please follow these directions when creating your bracelets:

✅ Bracelets we accept:

  • Beaded bracelets made with elastic or stretch cord

  • Embroidery thread bracelets (fun patterns!)

  • Paracord bracelets with a clasp

❌ Bracelets we cannot accept:

  • Braided designs (need more than 3 strings)

  • Rainbow Loom bracelets

  • Gimp (plastic lacing) or yarn bracelets

  • Bracelets with religious beads and sayings

  • Bracelets that say “Get Well”

Sizes and Styles 💫

Please make bracelets in both child and adult sizes so everyone — from little ones to parents — can join in the celebration!

  • Child size: approximately 5–6 inches

  • Adult size: approximately 7–8 inches

Bracelets can be made for boys, girls, or gender-neutral themes. Think bright colors, cheerful patterns, and simple designs that make anyone smile.

Wording & Affirmations 🌈

If your bracelet includes words or letter beads, please use positive and uplifting affirmations only.
Examples include:

  • “Happy Birthday”

  • “Smile”

  • “Shine Bright”

  • “Be Happy”

  • “Loved”

  • “Dream”

  • “Be Kind”

  • “Awesome”

  • “Make a Wish”

  • “Sparkle”

  • “Joy”

  • “Celebrate”

❌ Please do not include phrases such as “Get Well,” “Feel Better,” or “Cancer Sucks.”
We focus on joy, hope, and celebration — never illness.

Finishing Touches 🎁

  • Use bright, happy colors and safe, sturdy materials.

  • Avoid anything sharp, heavy, or breakable.

  • Package bracelets neatly in small individual zip bags.

  • Optional: include a tiny note or tag with a kind message like “Made with love for you, from (your name)!”
